In these perilous end times, when darkness seeks to dominate and demonic agendas rise boldly, one thing becomes clear: you must carry the power of God. Without it, many have fallen prey to unseen forces, spiritual oppression, and destructive traditions. This is not a time to be spiritually weak. It is a time to be armed, equipped, and filled with the fire of the Holy Ghost.
The Story of Sister Joy
There once lived a young woman named Joy, beautiful and vibrant, living peacefully in Lagos. Unknown to her, evil was brewing in her ancestral village. In this village, there existed a demonic custom — the ruling idol must always be given a wife. The oracle would select a woman, and she would be delivered into the shrine, never to marry a human, never to live a normal life again. She would become a spiritual slave, feeding off sacrifices and bound to the idol for the rest of her life.
One day, the oracle picked Sister Joy.
Her family journeyed from the village to Lagos, heads bowed in sorrow, not out of joy or pride. “Joy,” they said, “you’ve been chosen to be the next wife of the idol.” Even her Christian friends wept, assuming her fate was sealed. But Joy carried something that the idol and the village did not expect — the power of the Living God.
A Woman Empowered by God
Joy agreed to follow them back to the village, not in defeat but in power. She spent three days in Prayer City — fasting, praying, and fortifying herself in the Lord. When she arrived in the village, she did not tremble. As the entire village gathered to hand her over to the idol in a grand ceremony, she remained calm. Chalk on her face. Beads around her neck. They thought it was over for her.
But when they placed her before the shrine and left her alone, Sister Joy walked up to the idol and declared:
“By the power of the God of Elijah, I set you ablaze!”
Immediately, fire fell. The idol shattered to pieces!
She ran after the villagers saying, “Come back! I think my new husband is in trouble!” The chief priest returned, only to find their mighty idol reduced to dust. In terror, they fled, saying, “No, no! You are the new idol!” But Joy was no idol — she was a child of the Most High, a carrier of Holy Ghost fire!
Power or Shame — You Choose
If Joy had been powerless, her story would have ended in tragedy. Her destiny would have been buried in that shrine. But the power of God in her life turned mourning into deliverance, shame into testimony, and captivity into freedom.
This is why you must possess God’s power.
We are in a time when spiritual battles are not a theory — they are real. Demonic covenants, satanic arrows, evil traditions, and wicked altars are still at work in many places. Without spiritual power, many destinies have been wasted. You need power to confront, conquer, and cancel every satanic agenda against your life and family.
Receive Power Today
Wherever you are, whether you’re battling oppression in your dreams, facing strange occurrences in your environment, or contending with inherited battles, you must not be empty. You must be filled with Holy Ghost fire and clothed with spiritual power.
Receive that power now in the name of Jesus!
Receive fire to scatter every shrine!
Receive boldness to break every yoke!
Receive anointing to preserve your destiny!
Like Sister Joy, may your enemies be surprised. May your deliverance shake villages. May your testimony cause idol worshippers to flee. Because when God’s power rests upon you — no weapon fashioned against you shall prosper.
Amen.
