In the battlefield of life, especially as it concerns the believer, spiritual warfare is not optional—it is inevitable. Just as the physical world is governed by principles and strategies, the spiritual realm has its own laws, methods, and tactics. One of the most potent revelations in this message is encapsulated in three powerful “S” words: Secrets, Speed, and Surprise. These are not just concepts—they are divine strategies for victory.
1. Secrets – The Power of Spiritual Discretion
In the spirit, not everything is to be shared. Not every testimony is meant to be told, and not every victory is meant to be broadcasted. The man of God emphasizes how many believers talk too much, revealing divine strategies prematurely and unknowingly playing into the enemy’s hands.
“There are testimonies you shouldn’t give… secrets in ministry you must keep to yourself alone—because it’s between you and God.”
This mirrors the wisdom Jesus taught when He said not to cast your pearls before swine (Matthew 7:6). The early church was filled with fear and reverence because they handled holy things with discretion. In Acts 5, when Ananias and Sapphira lied to the Holy Spirit, judgment came swiftly—and nobody whispered a word. There was holy fear, because they knew how to keep spiritual matters sacred.
Today’s church must return to that maturity, where spiritual matters are not discussed with carnal casualness. The power of God moves in atmospheres where secrets are honored.
2. Speed – Moving at Divine Velocity
In the spirit, speed is not about being in a hurry—it’s about divine timing. The eagle that swoops down and catches its prey in an instant does so not just with strength but with speed. When God gives an instruction, delay is disobedience.
“You must be swift to obey. You must be swift to act. In spiritual warfare, he who hesitates is overtaken.”
This is the kind of urgency that must be found in every believer. When Elisha warned the king of Israel not to pass through certain places because the enemy was lurking (2 Kings 6:8–12), the king moved swiftly. That quick obedience saved an entire nation from destruction.
Many miss their moment because they are too slow to discern, too slow to respond, and too slow to act. In warfare, delayed obedience can be fatal.
3. Surprise – The Element of Supernatural Advantage
Surprise is the tactical edge. It is the unexpected that catches the enemy off-guard. In military terms, surprise disorients the adversary, giving you the upper hand. Spiritually, it means operating with such stealth and sensitivity that the enemy cannot predict your moves.
“When you keep secrets, you have the advantage of surprise because they don’t know what is inside you.”
Just as soldiers camouflage themselves in warfare, believers must learn to move in spiritual disguise—not revealing everything to everyone. The devil studies patterns, listens to conversations, and watches reactions. But when you operate under the radar—walking in the Spirit and speaking in wisdom—you retain the upper hand.
The Camouflage Church
The modern church must become wise like the early church—a church with camouflage, where the enemy cannot easily detect the movement of God. Too often, today’s church is an open book to Satan: careless with revelations, loose with speech, and predictable in pattern.
“The church today has no camouflage. We fall direct prey to the enemy… We have no secrets the enemy doesn’t know about.”
In warfare, camouflage is survival. In the kingdom, camouflage is spiritual intelligence.
The SEER Strategy – See Before You Speak
The message takes us into deeper prophetic waters by introducing the SEER strategy, drawn from the life of Elisha. Elisha could see into the enemy’s camp from his own house (2 Kings 6:8–12). He knew the enemy’s movements before they happened. This is the gift of prophetic sight.
“You will sit where you are, and you will see where they are.”
This is not just a prophetic gift—it’s a warfare weapon. When you can see the trap before it’s set, the ambush before it’s sprung, you have already won. The eyes of the spirit must open.
Elisha inherited this power from Elijah—a double portion anointing connected to vision. Elijah said, “If you can see me when I go, then it will be yours” (2 Kings 2:10). His entire inheritance was tied to his ability to see. In the same way, our ability to walk in victory today depends on the level of our spiritual perception.
Personal Power Centers – What Is In Your Hand?
Every man has a power center. For Moses, it was in his hand. For Joshua, it was in his feet. For Elisha, it was in his eyes.
“For every man, there is a secret of his power center.”
Ask yourself: What is in my hand? Where has God placed my authority? Understanding this helps you operate in alignment with your divine assignment.
Power is the Promise – Not Prosperity
Let us remember: Jesus never promised wealth, He promised power. In Acts 1:8, He declared, “You shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost has come upon you.” When you carry power, whatever you don’t have—power will supply.
“Whatever you don’t have, power will do what? It will supply it!”
That is the ultimate promise to the church—not comfort, but conquest. Not luxury, but authority.
Prayer Declaration
Father, open my eyes. Let me sit where I am and see where they are. Baptize me with the fire of the Holy Ghost. Release upon me the anointing of Elisha. Let me become a spiritual strategist, carrying the three weapons of warfare: Secrets, Speed, and Surprise. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
This is not just a sermon. It is a battle plan. Receive it, walk in it, and win.
🔥 You shall sit where you are, and see where they are. 🔥
