Apostle John was banished on account of the testimony of Christ. While in heaven, he had access to many books of the revelations of heaven. He had access to the throne room where he saw the worship of the father and the lamb. He saw the end of times and things to come. In chapter twenty he goes to the throne room again and saw books in heaven.. The book of life was only one of the books.
It is because of the power of memory that we are able to preserve knowledge. Memory is a system of retention given to man by God. God is not only a giver but a keeper . There is a system that keeps the prayers of the Saints. One of the things that can also be kept is the activities of the Saints. It is called the book of remembrance.. Not because God forgets, but it’s one way to administer justice to the Saints.
There are books in the law court used by the judge to make reference to while judging a case. There are people who look guilty until the book proves otherwise. The Bible makes us know that there is the all seeing eye of God.
God dwells in a realm which itself is an eye. It’s called the tea of inapproachable light. No possibility of darkness which means nothing is hidden before him.
What men cannot vindicate you for, God sees all things so that gives you hope. God is ominispresent, omniscient and omnipotent.. Man does not have these attributes so God is in a class of his own.
The Bible records that every once in a while, God has a system which he goes back in time and deals with issues men think had been long forgotten and he begins to reward the Saints for them.
Men can forget. There are people who don’t have a job today because their helpers forgot.
Genesis 41…
The Bible tells us how Joseph was accused and put in prison. He met the baker and wine presser and interpreted their dreams.
Joseph begged the wine presser to remember him when he leaves prison.
It’s amazing how good things can make you forget where you come from and forget others that you need to help too.
The wine presser forgot Joseph for two years. The memory of his helper kept him bound for extra two years.
The Bible says when God was ready to bring him to remembrance by himself,
Genesis 41
God gave Pharaoh a dream and the chief butler remembered Joseph.
The information was in that man ‘s memory but obviously something stopped it.
The butler narrated the story after he remembered and Joseph was sent for hastily. That means speed was a viable for Joseph but because his helper forgot him, he experienced delay, but when God remembered his case, Joseph was lifted to a high position and given a wife.
Notice, everyone who came to buy grains to survive only came because one man was remembered. The world was at the mercy of one man’s memory. Then there is something we need to know about the power of remembrance.
Isaiah 38
Hezekiah was sick and about to die and Isaiah was sent by God to tell him that he will die. Remember, Isaiah was not a false prophet.. But Hezekiah pleaded with God to remember how he walked before him..
He made demands upon the archives of God ‘s records. Even though there was a verdict upon his head of death, he prayed for a remembers..
When God remembers a person, this is how he acts… God sent Isaiah back to Hezekiah to tell him that he had opened the book of remembrance for him.
Hezekiah refused to die.. He insisted his book of remembrance be opened to him..
King Ahaserus in the book of Esther chapter 6 could not sleep because one man Mordecai needed to be remembered. The book of records was read to him that night and he asked, what has been done for this man for his act of benevolence? And his servant answered “nothing has been done for him”
The company runs by your intelligence yet nothing was done for you..
You have given your time and resources to serve yet nothing has been done for you…
The king that night made up his mind to honour Mordecai.
Now Haman came to get permission that same period to be able hang Mordecai..
My brothers and sisters, that means if the LORD didn’t remember Mordecai that night, Haman would have killed him before his rememberance….Ah.. It is good to be remembered on time.
Haman had discussed with his wife on how to kill Mordecai but that same night the king chose to honour him..
I speak to you, quarter to shame, may God show up for you in the name of Jesus Christ.
Just when the desire of the wicked seem to find expression,
By the intellgence and mercy of God, may God raise help for you in the name of Jesus Christ.
Haman in his selfishness proposed good ideas thinking it was him the king wanted to honour not knowing it was the same Mordecai he came to seek permission to kill…
God can turn the mind of your enemies in your favour….” He makes diviners mad so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise “
The king asked Haman to do all he had proposed for Mordecai who sat at the king ‘s gate leaving nothing undone.
Now listen to this :
After all that clamour had been done for Mordecai, Mordecai still went back and sat at the king ‘s gate.
Will you climb the King’s horse and wear his apparel and not move to the throne to sit down?
But Mordecai said, I will stay where I was lifted.
There was a place i stayed ..Even though I am raising, I will not forget that it was my service at the king’s gate that caused remembrance to come.
Can you wear the king ‘s robe, ride the king’s horse and still remain where the king kept you?
The king had not promoted him yet, he just gave an instruction.. Am sure while Mordecai was on that horse, he was saying.. “hmm.. Don’t not be carried away, you are not yet in the palace.. You will get there but you are not yet there.. “
And he came down, am sure the crowd might have been saying.. Mordecai you are the assistant to the king now.. But Mordecai before their eyes returned to back to the place from whence that grace found him..He went back and stayed at his duty post.
Listen, this right here is how great men fall. When they are tested with power, when they are tested with lifting, when they are tested with the anointing, when God begins to lift you and suddenly it comes overnight , the chances are that you will forget where you came from.. Deuteronomy chapter 8 says “let it not be that when you have built houses, you will say, my power and my might has gotten all these.. It says but thou shall REMEMBER “

When David stood before Goliath, he said “the Lord who delivered me from the lion and bear will deliver me from Goliath ” he remembered ..
Bless the Lord oh my soul and all that is within me and FORGET NOT his benefits.
Forget not that he took you from nothing ..
Forget not that there were ten of you in your family yet it was you he chose to start lifting..

A man who can remember, is a man who can be sustained.
A man who can remember the faithfulness of God , remember where you were yesterday , remember the hand that lifted you, that is the man that will never go down.

Years ago I watched a Nigerian film of a village girl who the king of the land chose to marry despite the oppositionfron his family.. Years went by and she forgot where she came from and began maltreating another poor village girl who was her maid. At the long run she fell sick and this young girl took care of her. To cut the long story short, it was discovered that the same girl she was illtreating was her blood sister that she didn’t know.
Let me tell you this..
The bliss of the palace made the butler to forget Joseph.
The bliss of greatness ..
The applause of men…
Most people sit down and say… What is there in fame?
No no no no.. There is a reason why remembrance is necessary..
You want sustainable anointing?
You want sustainable impact?
Please learn to remember.
You need to have a book of remembrance that is in the similitude of that which is on the throne..
I remember, that ten years ago when I was nothing, this gentle man came ..
I remember when I was soaking garri ..for instance you will say..
So that when you see him ten years later, you won’t shake your head.. No..

That a man can raise so high that the scar of yesterday ‘s pain can so erode from your life that it may never look like you have been there. It will never look like you even climbed a bike in your life.. It would never look like you soaked Garri. Sometimes we allow the deception of success to swallow our ability to remember.. I have learnt as a personal principle that modesty is the closest way to remember.
When you live a life that is modest(temperate the Bible calls it).. That means define boundaries .. It was the mistake Solomon made. He refused to be temperat and at long run he became lawless..
I believe in prosperity, but look at me believers, there is only so much cloth you can wear..
There is only so much food you can eat.
This is all the stomach you have.. There is no other stomach. Thank God for all the cares you will have but you will not remove one leg and put it in one jeep, and put your head in another car.
The way we approach success, if not guided by this mystery many of us will fall by the way side. This is the reason why great men will raise so high and when the whole world is watching, they suddenly vanish out of thin air.
The mistake of Haman and the wisdom of Mordecai, are two lessons we must learn.
Mordecai rode on the king ‘s horse, it was an honour not many had, yet when Mordecai dropped, he said thank you and returned to the king ‘s gate. That’s was where he was found in the first place.
Was it not on your knees that the anointing found you?
Have you returned back?
Was it not in the place of fasting and prayer that grace met you?
Was it not in the place of dedication mercy found you?

If you were lifted on your knees, remain on your knees.. If you were lifted while singing his praise, remain singing his praise..
It’s very uncomfortable to remain on your knees when the world is watching you, it’s embarrassing.. You should stand and shine for the world to see ..apostle Joshua Selman the man of God anointed ….But when you remember that if God forgets you, anything can happen to you.. It is a lesson..
Listen, be careful with the way you are managing success if not you will fall by the way. I have told this to several people and they thought I was talking nonsense but I have watched them sadly gone down as if it was not God that lifted them..
Do you know that the higher you raise, the more slippery the path is?
The day will come when some people become ashamed of rolling before God. Why will I roll my designers on the ground in the presence of kings and nobles they will say..
this was the mistake King Saul’s daughter made that kept her barren. I continue to tell God
Lord i am still your boy
I always tell God:
Lord, I remain your boy oh. I am other people’s father, I am other people’s mentor ..thank God for all of that
but you will always meet me where you found me..I remain your boy.

With all humility you can go before God and say..LORD I HAVE SERVED..
LORD I AM A FAITHFUL WORKER..I CLEAN THE SEATS..LORD I STAND BEFORE YOU..REMEMBER ME..CONCERNING THIS..
This is how to partition the book of remembrance to be opened for you and anytime God opens that book, he acts.

The power of consistency.
The first key is consistency of your well doing regardless of who sees you, who commends you or who doesn’t..
Weariness can catch up with you when you are not appreciated..you are human but don’t stop. Continue. Your reward is tied to your consistency whether rewarded or not.
If you are consistent, one day as the hand of the clock, it will come to your turn and your lifting will find expression.
This is true.
Who told you God does not remember the sacrifices of the saints? Who told you God forgets you?
There are things you are doing today that are securing your tomorrow.
A day will come that you will watch the present level of koinonia and tears will come out of your eyes and you will say, that was me cleaning the chairs those days, that was me playing the keyboard..
Your consistency matters. Imagine if Mordecai got tired before his lifting?
This is an encouragement to someone right now. Don’t stop doing good.

Impatience will always give birth to what will fight your promise.
You must sustain the stamina to stay. Let God meet you where he last instructed you.
Lord I will continue.
There is power on waiting. Anna the prophetess waited and prayed for sixty years..do you know what it takes to pray without seeing result for sixty years? Abraham waited for 25years…Hey! My soul wait thou upon the Lord.. There is power in waiting. There is power in staying.
There is power in remaining.. I keep sowing even when I don’t see the heavens open..I will keep speaking..I will keep serving, i may not see the results but I will keep serving..I will keep holding on to the word even when men think am wasting my time..
Even when men mock me..I will continue..when the Lord shall turn again the captivity of Zion, it will be like a dream..our mouths will be filled with laughter..
The Bible says they that sow in tears…
Listen koinonia,
It is possible to sow in tears..but in due season… ..John remained in the wilderness until the season of appearing.
Hear me..you must conquer the pressure of men..They will push you into seasons that God had not yet designed..
Mordecai knew Haman was occupying his position but he left the battle to the Lord..he remained at the gates until his time of lifting.
Can I tell you something my dear brothers and sisters,
It will not always be like this. ..Let me speak to you..
It will not always be that you will go home every night and wonder what do I eat?
No no…
The Bible says, while we look not on the things that are seen, but the things that are unseen..
Man of God,it will not always be that you will go to a meeting and the power of God will not flow no..you are in a season..STAY..STAY..I am prophesying to you…Build stamina and stay..
A day will come when the glory of God will mantle you…STAY while you learn..
Jesus, you are savior but not at age twelve, you are savior but not at age 18, Jesus you are savior but not at 30…You are only savior at 33..
The 18 year old Jesus did not save the world..
Joseph you are a deliverer but not in the pit.

Why do I need to keep quiet when I can prophesy?
Why should I not talk when I can preach?
There are people on this ministry I love so much scattered all over the place..they are mighty men of the spirit and multime millionaires but you will never see any pressure to be known. They are not under pressure to be seen. They come and sit down quietly , they serve and worship God yet they are mighty prophets and apostles..
Let me tell you something..
When you see a man that has self control, respect such a man.
It is powerful to have what to say and yet keep quiet.
It is powerful to know what to do and still remain.
It is powerful to see a door that is opened and yet still remain..
If a door is closed, it is not a proof of your stamina..but can you see a door open and yet not move?
Sometimes some of you feel embarrassed for serving because five years down the line you have nothing to show for it and people mock you and sometimes you can feel stupid for being consistent..But I give you a scripture,
You are already opening a door..Stay there till the door opens..
You see, the thing about God is that five minutes to your lifting it will still not look like it..
Five minutes to your raising Joseph you are still in the prison..
While the person has left the palace and is coming to you already, You are not seeing him..

Oh Israel, when God is already winning the battle, you don’t have to fight.. But you are not seeing ..just believe in what Jehoshaphat is saying..
Consistency…
I will pray as before..
I will fast as before..
I will worship as before..

Never be ashamed of your today, you will miss it tomorrow.
Receive the grace and stamina to stay..
Let people laugh at you , let people mock you, especially for our dear ladies.. because society has put all kinds of pressures on ladies..’Show us your husband, show us this, show us that’..and you stand there feeling stupid for loving the Lord….
Let us not be weary in well doing.
There are preachers that need to stay..
Lord what should I do now? Should I start a Church or should I stay?
And God says just keep doing what you are doing..
In due season…we shall reap ..

The season of reward for a man’s life is a fearful dimension of that man’s life.
For reasons you cannot explain,you will see that God will command the territories to begin to sing your songs and to speak your purposes..
David was going to be king but for a very long time he was in the wilderness..
He killed a lion but remained in the wilderness..He killed a bear but remained in the wilderness..If that news had got to Saul, they would have called him to serve in the palace but he would never be king..
Sometimes don’t be quick to announce your achievements, let God and time reveal it..Just kill the bear but remained quiet in the wilderness..
This itch to talk sometimes is proof of weakness. You sabotage where you are going.
Did the Bible not already tell you that you cannot light a lamp and put it under a bushen?
Waiting is very hard ..but it is proof of Spiritual maturity..To wait until seasons come..
I have shared with you in this ministry that for many years God would not allow me to buy a car..
Even when Koinonia was filled with crowds here, I will climb a bike and still come for Koinonia.You would think i were a stupid person.It was not because there was lack of finances..Just like that 
..Lord why do you want to humiliate me? I love you so much, why won’t you allow me to buy a car?
Then people started coming with cars to give me and God will just tell me to bless them and let them go..If I were your relative will you clap for me for that kind of brain?

Be careful what you call common sense..It has destroyed many people ..The way of the Spirit is very strange..
I will never forget one time a man came to tell me, this is what God gave him to give me..he carried the keys of the car and I was already smiling when he(God) came again and said Hmm..no..This man has not discussed with his wife, his wife will join the people who will talk about you and will say you have manipulated the husband..
I appreciated the man, prayed for him with all my heart and told him to carry the car and go.
But today..will I ever have a need of a car and not have it ?
Never ever forever..

Waiting pays.
When God wants to pay you, He will back-date it,press down, shaken together to make room for more..fill it till it runs over.
Sustain the stamina to wait.
Shut your ears to the nonsense people say,
You are on your way to a dimension of grace..He is training you..He is teaching you..

You can stay with God ..you are lifting people out of wheel chairs yet God will tell you not to honour one invitation..Sit down..and be a worker..not even in prayer band..
carry the cooler and work in welfare department.
It is when you are carrying that cooler you are qualifying yourself for the next level.
The proof of sonship is servanthood..
If you can serve then you are a true son..
…”Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus .. Though He is God but humbled himself even to death on the cross.. “
Do you know that Jesus was almost giving up at Gethsemane as a man? He said if possible let this cup pass over me, nevertheless not my will but thine be done..

PROPHECY
Every dimension you should have entered that has been delayed unnecessarily, by reason of remembrance, I bring you into that inheritance, in the Name of Jesus.
I bring your ministry, family, education, finances, marriage, past, business and destiny before the God of Heaven, I command remembrance tonight, in the Name of Jesus
For everything you have lost, I declare sudden restoration
I declare that everyone ordained to remember you for good, does so in the Name of Jesus!
I declare over your life that the book of remembrance that archives your faithfulness, consistency, diligence and service be opened over you tonight.
