Every day, God offers us a fresh reminder of His love, mercy, and grace through His Word. Today’s message from Pastor W.F. Kumuyi is a powerful reminder that when Jesus speaks forgiveness into a sinner’s life, it is not just a possibility—it is the final word.
Forgiveness That Cannot Be Reversed
In Mark 2:5, Jesus looked upon a helpless paralytic and declared:
“Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.”
That moment was not merely an announcement; it was a divine adoption. The man who once carried the weight of sin and weakness was instantly brought into the family of God. The Pharisees could not change it. The man’s own doubts could not reverse it. Even the angels, as glorious as they are, could not overrule it. His words cut through every accusation:
“Her sins, which are many, are forgiven.”
That statement changed her identity forever. What others remembered about her no longer mattered. She was no longer a sinner—she was now redeemed. When the blood of Jesus washes us, our past no longer defines us.
The Father’s Word, The Foremost Word, The Final Word
Pastor Kumuyi reminds us that what Jesus says is the Father’s word. His declaration of pardon is foremost, final, and forever. No sin is too great, no past too dirty, no failure too deep. Once He calls you “Son” or “Daughter,” you belong to Him, adopted by grace into His eternal family.

Then, pray a simple prayer:
Lord Jesus, I believe You died for my sins and rose again for my salvation. I confess my sins, and I receive Your forgiveness today. Thank You for calling me Your own. From now on, I belong to You. Amen.
The Final Word Over Your Life
